It is hot and I will have 2 visitors this evening. First, at around 5:30, my granddaughter will come. I have to teach her how to feed Luna while I´m away. Then, later, my eldest daughter Tania will come for dinner and she´ll stay overnight. I don´t know yet if both will come at the same time. I have delicious food to serve to both of them but I am feeling sticky. In fact, when I started to write this post, I as fresh and just showered. Not anymore. I bought a big bottle of English lavender cologne a few days ago. I guess that will be my 3rd and last, I hope, shower How do you cope with heat?

Sounds like a hot one where you are at. Opppsite problem we are having here. Staying indoors and not doing anything strenuous helps me. Take care!

Ahh, not my problem right now, but with heat.. tank tops, shorts, flip flops, AC/fan and a cold glass of iced lemonade helps. Up here around NYC way it's cold as this cartoon I found shows...

We never get "that' hot here! In the summer, we don't ever reach over about 90 degrees, but if I get hot, I go for a swim and drink some iced tea!

The heat would not be so bad here if we had A/C. But I don´t and only very rich people do.

Right now, we do not have to cope with heat, it is freezing cold. But in the summer, we put the A/C on and take more showers.

I don´t have A/C. And our winters, although every year colder, are never freezing cold.

Dealing with heat in my sisters home is by using a lot of fans in the rooms.

This is not a questions Europeans have to deal with at the moment. From what the news shows us, it's not a problem on the North American continent, either. On the contrary!

I usually took a couple showers to keep cool in the heat. I also take a couple of hot showers to keep warm in the cold.

@just4him Probably it depends on the heating system. I don´t have central heating nor A/C

@marguicha I close up the house when it starts to get hot - pull the curtains closed. It does help a bit. We don't often need to run the air-conditioner.

It does help to take short and refreshing showers during hot weather. Wearing cotton material clothing also helps the skin feel cool. You might as well consider taking a shower at the end of the day for you to be able to feel fresh once again before going to bed :-) When it's hot (Summer), we usually close the curtains that gets hit by the sunlight, this way the room doesn't lose the cool breeze that the air conditioning gives off and the ceiling fans too. We make sure we eat more fruits during hot weather because of the fact that meat has obviously blood (originally) which makes human body warm unlike with fruits and veggies too. Yes, drinking lots of favored water helps a lot too :-)
