Yes, we are having thunder and lightning here. Plus a little rain...Mostly frozen since it's 27 degrees (-3 C). It's rare to have thunder and lightning in the Winter but it seems to be happening more often now. It happened at least once last year. It used to happen about every ten years.
But forget about the strange weather. Today's big story is The State Of The Union speech tonight. Well, really what you're gonna see tonight is the rough draft of the SOTU. Dopey Donny will Tweet the real thing afterward, after my friend Sean (Sean Hannity, not my other friend, Sean Connery) tells him what he should have said.
Wait---I need to apologize. Calling Mr. Trump "Dopey Donny" is pretty disrespectful to him and his many tens of followers. So let me amend that to President Dopey Donny.
Even though Dopey Donny is what we call him around the West Wing. And the East Wing. And Mar-A-Lago. And the Trump Tower. And...Well, everywhere else. But it's far too friendly, informal and honest for a distinguished honorable journal like this. So once again, I'm sorry. I hope Dopey Donny and his supporter forgive me.

I am glad our weather has gone back up into the 70s my sinuses were suffering. I am not watching any speech I have felt bad enough all day and just want my warm and cosy bed.

I couldn't either. The commentary is on now and I'm not even watching it. It's kind of the adult version of hiding under the bed until the monster goes away. Except this time, the monster is real.

@FayeHazel I'm the same. I was really hoping the speech would have to be canceled because of arrests and impeachments and when that didn't happen, I got really discouraged.

I've done the tRUMP thing a lot...I'm not even sure why I stopped doing it.
I am looking forward to her, too...I'm also dying to know who, if anyone, is going to get up and walk out of the speech.
