Wednesday Morning

Well last night we had freezing rain and the roads we a sheet of ice around 9 pm. I had to run out and it was very dangerous but this morning the road were not to bad for the drive in. People were driving fairly slow but it was not bad at all. Thankfully they had put salt down and besides the roads being wet they were not ice. I have not mentioned it much lately but The Chicago Blackhawks are on a 5 game winning streak. They have not been doing to good this season so I have not had much to say. Even though I have watched just about every game this year I have had nothing to say. Last night they won 6-2 and 5 of those goals came in the 3rd period and 3 of those were scored in 2 minutes 30 seconds. It's nice to see them winning again, although I still don't see them making the playoffs this year. Well it's Wednesday morning we have made it half way through the week. We got that same freezing rain and the trees were covered in ice that part looked beautiful. Just glad the main rds were okay to drive . And yes wed almost the weekend . Good luck to your hawks

Yea, the freezing rain is still going but I have to say, I'm surprised how well they have been keeping the roads around here.

Its Thursday and woke up again to rain makes me wanna go back to bed but i didnt. I grabbed my umbrellla and went for a walk instead. Lucky for us its just rain and it cold .. I only had a light jacket so im thankful our temperstures are good despite the wind and rain .. I cant wait to see the spring flowers..:)

That sounds totally horrible. Here it was also freezing rain sunday into Monday and turned the roads into a skating rink. Which was scary. Now we are just getting a bunch of snow tonight.
