Will I reach $3 here before my trip?

I know already that I cannot reach my goal here this month. But, as you can imagine, a week in Ciudad de Mexico with my daughters (no husbands or grandchildren) will be a bigger wonder.
Still, I want to be here as much as I can. I have a little to go before I reach $2 but maybe I can reach $3 before my trip. And last month I earned $2 beyond my goal. So, one month with the other, I will reach at least half of my goal.
Do you know about Mexico, dear friends? Did you know that the náhuatl culture was maybe the greatest and most developed in the Americas? One of our trips will be to Teotihuacán, which in Nahualt means the place where Gods were born. The culture in Teotihuacan disappeared before the Nahuatls. But they were bigger than the Roman empire.
Lately, it seems that all we know about Mexico has to do with some stupid wall that will not hold any really bad person. But the greatness of Mexico would take several books. See you around.

I don’t know a lot about Mexico other then it’s not a rich country but is filled with lots of caulture. Not great when it comes to medical stuff but is beautiful to visit. Never been but might go one day. Yes there is lots of talk about that darn wall which is a different topic at hand.

There is poverty in some parts of Mexico, but it is not a poor country at all.

@marguicha yeah, I hear the beaches are lovely in certain places. My parents went on a curise and stop in Mexico for a few day.

Yes, there is a lot of talk these days about a wall. Walls to keep people out, and walls to keep people in. I have never been to Mexico, but I am sure there are some beautiful sites there.

I've been to visit a few places in Mexico! I spent a day in Tijuana and some time in Cozumel. Both were amazing in their own way, but very different from each other, for sure!

I have been to Cozumel, Playa del Carmen and Cancún. They have wonderful beaches and climate but as history goes, Mexico´s capital is the place.

Cancun is nice as beaches go, although I prefer Aruba. But Mexico´s capital is full of places that are of utmost historical value.

My late parents visited Mexico a long time ago. They told me the best part was to travel into Mexico City since the rest of the nation was mostly countryside villages. This was around the early 1960s.

My husband went to Mexico City for the first time around 1960. He took me a lot later. Near Mexico City there are beautiful old towns full of history. It is a lot better than the beaches. You find those everywhere.

I probably won't even get to 3 dollars by the end of the month haha I just don't earn very quickly, but that is okay!
I would love to learn more about Mexico since it is only a 4-6 hour drive away from me I should probably know more. I know a lot about culture and traditions because of people I have dated but still it is always fun to learn more.

I have been several times to Mexico City And it is a city that you can visit again many times. Other awesome places are near so you can even visit Puebla, an hour away by car. I have been to Taxco (where they have the big silver mines, Acapulco ( the place where old movies stars had their mansions) and Cancun and other parts of that coast (they are nice buy not better than the rest of the Caribbean.

@marguicha This is true, when we lived in the south of France there were many Muslims there (mainly from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia), they were very nice people, good workers.
