The girls trip has been planned

I talked about this last month. My friends and I wanted to plan another trip.
Now, I say it's been planned but it hasn't, atleast not to a T. We have a general idea of what we want to do (which might include a trip to a big used bookstore in my family's hometown!), but we haven't started reserving places or picking a date to do it. I say around the fall would be perfect, but we shall see I guess.
Oh, it will be a road trip across NC. Staying at one or two places and generally having a good time of adventure and fun. I am sure antiquing will be on the list of things to do, all three of us enjoy going to stores like that, even if we don't purchase anything.

I doubt we will go anywhere this year, we may be looking into finding a more permanent house with a fence etc. It bugs me that the dogs don't have a yard to play in.

@thislittlepennyearns Have you guys considered a rent to own type deal eventually? You might be able to find a better deal on a rent to own that requires a bit of fixing up.. That is if you guys are open to that type of place.

Me too! I meant to text my friend and ask her if she's talked to our other friend. We need to decide how we are going to do it, whether we go halvers on a hotel or on an airbnb.. I have family that live in one area but I am not sure that they'd be able to accomdate us.

That sounds like so much fun! I really don't have plans yet. My daughter wants to get a job this summer so I doubt we will be going away this summer.

My daughters and I have a "girls only" trip planned for when they're both out of school in May. We'll be heading up to visit my sister on the east coast of Canada.

She usually comes down to the States, doesn't she?
That will be fun. It will be May before we know it, though January was so very long. I think we are planning ours for Fall. I know one friend will be going on a cruise in the spring, so she'll need to save up again for our mini-adventure.

@ScribbledAdNauseum In the past I've probably visited her more than the other way around, but that was because visiting her was combined with visiting my parents. Unfortunately, e's moved significantly farther away so running north for a weekend visit is no longer feasible. That said we both still manage to visit fairly regularly. Last year I made it to her house once, this summer I expect to make it twice. Once with the girls in May and a second time in July when my husband and I go north to pick up our oldest at the end of the Appalachian trail.

No i dont have any vacation plans .. As of yet .. But my mom lives close to relighy North Carolina .. I would love to go to orange beach Alabama .. :)

There are so many other places across the US and otherwise that I would love to visit. Exploring my own state would be fun though.
