Tasting Cheez It Grooves Smokin' Bacon & Swiss

Grooves are my favorite style of Cheez It snack crackers and they are usually reliable and pleasing. This “special edition” promised a “Bold’ flavor combination of smoky bacon and mellow swiss cheese and that is basically true. Bacon flavor is taste with a mild cheese taste. These Grooves do initially taste very good but there is a negative issue. Yes, that smoky flavor is bold and as a result leaves a long lingering aftertaste that is unpleasant. Cheez It Grooves Smokin’ Bacon and Wwiss are momentarily tasty and rough on the mouth long after that.

I like the grooves the best too. I have bacon and jalapeno I think it is, Cheez its right now. I like them. They are not grooved however.

I like bacon but only with eggs. Thanks for the review. I'll stay away from that Cheez It selection.

I never tried the grooves version of cheez it, But the smoky part is a bit of a turn off in itself
