Now and again do you go to that house on the hill?

when scrolling through discussion titles, do old songs suddenly play in your head? i read a post title about being missed here and in my head i heard, "do you miss me? once i a while do you miss me? now and again, do you go to that house on the hill..." (i attached a link to the video if you want to listen and remember) of course, i got curious and searched the song in youtube if there are old videos of it, then wikipedia for info on the singer. the song's title is "do you miss me?" the singer is morris albert, but his real name is MaurĂcio Alberto Kaisermann. he was born in brazil in 1951, and his family were immigrants from austria. "do you miss me?" was released way back 1982, but his other hit was "feelings" much earlier in 1975. as in, "feelings. nothing more than feelings. trying to forget my feelings of love..." i didn't know he sang both songs. are you familiar with both songs? would you agree to a screen name or create your own if you were a performer/celebrity/public figure?

old songs like 'feelings' and 'do you miss me' would likely be played in radio stations that play love songs, or oldies but goodies. what screen name would you have if you were a celebrity?

Many famous singers use a pseudonym and not their real name. My name is very common, I think I should have to invent one.

i think they anglicized his name because it's sounds ethnic but he's singing english songs, maybe for easier recall.

feelings is quite a sad song. but the moment i remembered this song, 'do you miss me,' it kept playing in my head. maybe because it has a happier melody

Yes, those are two of my favorite songs of the 80's. I just forgot that it was Morris Albert who sang it. Do You Miss Me has a very nice tune and lyrics. Well, actually most of the songs of long ago have beautiful lyrics and tune.
