Back to share about day 42 on my health journey. I know I have not stuck to it perfectly, and I have had a few cheat days....but I did not give up! We'll see what happens at the end of the year! FBS: 137 Meal 1: Low carb tortilla, peanut butter sugar free jam bs: 98 Meal 2: 4 oz of tuna with mayo, reduced sugar ketchup & shredded cheese Meal 3: Green smoothie (3 cups spinach, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries, unsweetened cocoa, sweetener, unsweetened almond milk) 12 pepperoni 1 serving shredded cheese a little bit of pizza sauce BS: 109 Macros: Calories: 850 Protein: 49 Fat: 59 Carbs: 37 Fiber: 17 Net carbs: 20 Today was a much lower calorie day, probably because breakfast I had more carb-y foods than fatty. I'll try to do better tomorrow. How did you all do today?

Breakfast was just coffee after swearing I'd make eggs. A snack was a prune and tea while I fed my grandson his eggs and prunes (why I didn't make me any.....). Lunch was a Lean Cuisine spaghetti. Dinner was a half honey crisp apple, half a nectarine, a cucumber, Greek blueberry yogurt with cherries tossed in and walnuts. I too have days I go off my plan but I'm doing much better.

@MommyOfEli2013 Today had a couple bites of a banana with my grandson, coffee, a Lean Pocket and a banana PB smoothie. I have about 700 more calories I can do and stay within my limits so might make a steak.

That is super low calories! Almost too slow but great job. Are you feeling healthier/happier?

Yes, I would at least like to be around 1,200 at the lowest....but jut didn't happen yesterday. I do feel not as tired/sluggish as I do when I eat a lot of carbs.

Yes it was yesterday. I felt like I ate more than 850 calories though....Had I had my normal "dessert" it would have been closer to where it should have been.

Going under 1,200 calories a day is not good for your body. I was just talking, teaching a 80 year old man by phone, how to eat a balanced meal. He just found out he has type 2 diabetes.

Well some days I can't eat any more....and at least I got my smoothie in. I try to at least be above 1,200 most days. That's good that you were helping him out....would be hard to change things at 80!

That's... a little too low . Well, guess it's not a problem for one day, but you should eat more . I mean, almost all my meals are over 1,000 calories and I eat at least two times every day. And I'm always hungry .

Yes, I know I was super low on calories, I try to get at least 1,200 but that was a problem yesterday for some reason.
