Today is the first anniversary of Charlie's arrival into our family. He was such a little things g back then and so scared of everything and everybody.
He and his siblings had been rescued as a dumped litter at birth by an organisation that aims to socialise the dumped kittens before homes are found for them. Charlie was about three months old when he came to live with us.
Poor thing, he had no idea what was happening. He spent most of his first day hiding under the table. The picture above was taken that day.
Now, a year later he is an adventurous, loving friend, filled with curiosity about the world around him. When I looked at this first photo this morning I had forgotten how small and scared he was.
Charlie has certainly given us many hours of love and laughter over the last year. He's a very important member of our family - and I think he knows it!

I love his eyes, though. He looks very wise. I am glad he has a good home with you.

He reminds me of my little Nico who was also very scared and squeaking all time when I first got him. Now that he is a compartively big boy..at 7 months..he is enjoying his environment much more and knows what to expect.

@valmnz Honestly, he reminds me of an 18 month old toddler, which is what they are in many ways. His brain won't get much bigger..but I think he will remember some things.

What is important is that Charlie knows how important he is around you.

@valmnz He is a manx. He has absolutely no tail. He did run away to the neighbors house after I took him to the vet for a little operation. But I know he is safe over there.

I think during that time that he first came in your house he is still adjusting but now he is already comfy with you all.

Our baby cat (never mind that she's six years old, she's the youngest of our horde) was like that as well.
