Yes that is right, I have just gathered $8.25. I just look, click and its all mine. Monday I do the preview of Publix Grocery stores up coming sale that begins on Wednesday, I see the buy one get one free sale and I print out coupons, aka free money, and I have it ready to go shopping for the things "I want or need." How do I keep from over spending at the grocery store? I have a list and I stick with it and I have coupons if there are any available and I apply them to any buy one get one free deals. Super savings for the times I do shop. How about you? Do you plan your shopping trips and save money?

I love Publix. It is my favorite go-to grocery store. I also stick to my list, otherwise I would buy out the store.

Our Publix is a great place. It is friendly and helpful and someone is always giving out samples. Unfortunately, the prices keep many from shopping there, especially when there is a Walmart across the street.

@akalinus I only but what is on sale and I use a coupon for max savings. I have a walmart and I do the math before shopping, if its cheaper at walmart with the coupon I get it there but if I get 2 and i use 2 coupons usually the best savings is at publix.

Normally I can’t afford Kroger’s low prices, but when I see their “10 for $10” specials I jump on it.

@andriaperry — Kroger lets you load the coupons to your card so you don’t need to print them. More savings!

Under $30 at walmart, paper is $3 and last forever, Sharon knows where to get ink dirt cheap!

@andriaperry They seem to be a lot more expensive than that. And the ink runs out after 30 pages or so. My old printer had a firmware reset and will only take original ink which is not for sale anywhere. I was getting ink on Amazon but it won't take it now. My son ruined the printer by jerking around the ink and now the print part is dried out and won't work.

Our Publix doesn't require coupons. We just buy what we want or need whether or not its on sale.

Mine doesn`t require coupons either but that is how I make my dollar go further. I am still in the saving part of life. But you do not have to worry about money and saving, you did it and now you`re spending it.

You can buy coupons already clipped if you want to stock on one item. getting the nws paper q`s is what I dont do anymore, they went up on the price of the paper so now I print and that is it.

Printer ink can cost a lot so I haven’t used them in years. Walmart was the only store I could use them at around here.

@andriaperry my daughter is always using it for school projects so I conserve it as much as possible. My sons cyber school sends us two free black in cartridges a year and I am so thankful for that.

Yes, I plan my meals according to what is less expensive. Let's say grapes are very expensive at this time but the pears are more reasonably priced then I will eat pears.

I do that also with the fruits. When grapes are on sale I home can and freeze them. I have home canned the pears for later as well. Oranges are the only thing I have not really made anything for later when they are dirt cheap. OH, I freeze bananas for later as a frozen smoothie or to make banana bread.

I write down what u want to get and try to stick to it. I also have my usband come with because he does quick calculations in his head faster then I do. We mostly shop at Walmart so there’s is no coupons not a lot of the store where we live have gluten free food so I have to check if I want to go some where else I’d there sales are better then what I might want to get at Walmart, I also use receipt scanner to earn money back.

Just ordered some things from Publix today. When I get on the Instacart site I first check out the coupons and then I just gather up the items I need. Usually, it is not so much and today I got 16 items and saved a bit over $3.
