I need a scale

I need a scale .. I was thinking today that i would love to know how much i weigh ..but unfortunately right now i dont have a scale.. I know i have gained because my pants are starting to get somewhat tight on me ..before when i lost all my weight i knew how much i weighed at all times. . i had a scale then and weighed myself every day ..i think that motivated me more to lose ..weight ..so i will be adding a scale to my buying list and soon be weighing myself daily again and hopefully that will help me lose the weight i need.. Do you weigh yourself everyday.. ?

We have a scale, but I have not used it in years . I go by feel rather than the numbers. I can feel when I need to tone up - and like you said my pants get kinda tight too. There was a time when I would work out and you'd think I'd weigh less then, but I weighed more because of muscle mass . . . so that's why I go by feel.

I have had that happen before.. I think its not just seeimg the numbers that inspires me ..but the actual knowing where i stand .. Cause even when my clothes are tight i still dont know how much i weigh.. So just knowing helps me set good goals to at least try for..

I don't even remember the last time i weighed myself. I have God to thank i have somehow constant body weight. Never big never small

@Nana49 I don't take for granted though. Sometimes i even eat junk though not continuosly and still get away with it. I however have a small stomach that won't go away

Your one of the lucky ones i always gain in the winter because im less active and in the summer im always out doors doing something or walking daily..i hibernate in the winter maybe i need to look into one day getting another treadmill as well just for winter..

The numbers motivate me ..i feel so much better when i know im losing and on the right track Im guessing im 179. . which is alot for me at 5'4 My goal is 150..

I weight myself pretty often but I take it with a grain of salt. Everything I've read isn't so much how much you weigh but how you look. But if you look at yourself in the mirror every day then you don't see the changes. So I think between weighing yourself and looking at yourself in the mirror (honestly) will help you achieve your goal.

@Nana49 - You're welcome. Just remember that everyone isn't the same so you have to figure out what's right for you and stick with it. Maybe weighing yourself everyday, followed by a "stink eye" in the mirror when warranted", is what works for you.

@Beaser i want to lose 30 pounds last i weighed.at the dr office i was 180 I think 150 is a good weight for me ..i was once there ..

maybe your dryer is shrinking them no, that is what i used to tell everyone back when i was trying to lose weight. these days i don't weigh every day cause i don't want to get depressed and feel sorry for myself by finding out i have lost more because i am now needing to gain weight.

Lol thats a great excuse to use funny ..i wish i had your problem of needing to gain . if i could id give you some of mine ..i need to lose 20 pounds that would put me at 150 where i feel i look good.

I like to be aware of things and know for sure And then count my progress for the next day.or strive to better if i gain.. Knowing i will be weighing the next morning inspires me to want to do more to lose ..

I weigh every morning before breakfast and without clothes. That way I can hopefully make changes before the pounds add up too much. Of course, those six cookies I ate yesterday will show up tomorrow, I'm sure.

I can't wait to get mine , not knowing kills me and i feel so much better knowing where im at number wise. But i will have to wait til i get paid ..9 days i have it counted down lol

I weigh myself every day but don't worry too much if I go up a bit as within a few days my weight usually comes down again.

I've tries on 2 pairs of pants this morning that are too tight :( so yeah im gonna have to lose some weight i known that without the scale the scale just.puts it into perspective ...

It is good to know how we weigh and or how much is our blood pressure if we have that kind of equipment.I like to have b/p apparatus for me.
