Happy Saturday

Good morning/afternoon or evening to all my friends here in the myLot world.
Usually I'm happy to see Saturday arrive but today it's bittersweet. As I've said in previous posts my grandson was here for the week but today he's going home.
I'm up a little early as I wanted to make a nice breakfast that we can enjoy together before he leaves.
We had a wonderful week and I know I've said it before but I'm truly blessed when it comes to family. Not only this grandson but all the rest make my heart smile.
There isn't anything planned for today. The sun is shining but it's supposed to turn to rain and be windy by the end of the day. Tomorrow looks on the soggy side but you can't really rely 100% on the forecast.

I hope you enjoy the little while you have left with him. =) I know you will!!
We will start packing things we don't use every day for the move that's coming for us!

@Marilynda1225 I remember the time that I used to spend with my Gramma, I loved that time so much, and when she started having heart attacks I remember it scared me because it made me realize her age.
I was with my Dad when we went into her home to check on her one morning, and found her still in her bed. It broke my heart, and then I looked at my Dad's face, and that shattered my broken heart. It was one of the hardest days of my life.

Yes, I am preparing the turkey roomie brought home. It's 14 pounds so it will take a few hours. I bought some alumnium foil and cornbread stuffing yesterday in preparation.

It always happen that we feel that kind of feeling if we have a love one who will stay for a while and leave.But at least he can come there at anytime again.

No excitement here but it did snow quite a bit.
I was going to go see the ice climbing but I wont now.
I may go over to the little store here and get a few items.
