It's a Routine Kind of Day

Good morning/afternoon or evening to all my friends here in the myLot world.
Happy Tuesday! it's a blue sky day here with the sun peeking in and out from behind the few clouds that are there. Looks like a decent day ahead weather-wise.
Sadly I didn't get as good a nights sleep last night as I did the night before. I really didn't expect to since having such a good sleep is pretty much a fluke. But, I got decent enough sleep that I didn't wake up as tired as I have been. I'll take that as a win.
My daughter is working today so it's just me and the pups.
I don't have anything specific in mind for today other than some laundry and a few other things.
Once I get the "must do" things out of the way I'm going to work on my crocheting and probably reading at some point.
Other than that, it's a normal day here in my little corner of the myLot world.

@Marilynda1225 Lately Tony has been sickly so I have to slow down and make sure he is taken care of, or he feels like going. The rain has stopped me from working on the homestead, outside.

Did you have your coffee? Just checking because you didn't mention it.
My day started at 5:33. I wanted to stay in bed, but I couldn't. I'm still waiting on word from my son about my car. I sent him a text message that the car also needed a tuneup. I know we both forgot about that when I got parts on Saturday. So, I sit here, working on myLot, then my book, and maybe watch some TV again today as I wait.

I was expecting just a run of the mill day today also.
But that didn't happen.
Yesterday at work I noticed that I received an email inviting me to a meeting tomorrow afternoon. I didn't know the sender so I ignored it. Today my supervisor asked messaged me to come to her desk and she asked me about the email. She told me that her and her boss submitted my name for that meeting tomorrow and that I should accept the invitation. I did and before too long got another email advising me that its a luncheon webinar. So, I'll have to dress up because my supervisor and her manager will be in there with me.
Why do they pick me, why can't I just blend in?

It actually didn't turn out to be a webinar, it was a meeting with some of the top executives. And they actually listened to some of my suggestions.

It's sunny here too, but cold. I went to take out the trash. I hope to read some more of Echo. I'm almost finished reading it. I have two other books to read. I hope to watch a show I accidentally deleted on my on demand.

You are lucky that you know how to do crochet I don't.My day is okay I try to cut the young coconut for me to eat but it is no longer good for eating so I just give it to the dogs and birds.

I never had a fresh coconut. I remember my father buying them and cutting them open. They aren't easy to open from what I remember.

I did my usual watched my soap operas they were good and now im getting ready to watch dr phil then go to the grocery and try and buy some healthy grocerys . i ve been looking online earlier about the vitamin b and how it effects you ..i know i need a b 12 shot .. That really helps me wirh energy which reminds me i need to call now and make and appointment to get blood work done so i can get another b12 shot . however i still plan to eat more healthy foods .. So going to the store and that will be my day...
