Well, I think I finally have found a way to keep Sir Pounce a lot at bay. Even though he did wake me up at 6:30 which I didn't appreciate, I tucked my feet in under as much covering as I could and simply did not react a bit when he started all his pouncing. Lying like a corpse..worked pretty well. I also fed him then, and provided 3 toys at the end of the bed I had placed last night, which of course were all scattered this morning. It's the stimulation he is after, good or bad..so when I don't provide it, he finds something else to do.. I think not reacting is the key.

Good morning, I think that not reacting is the best strategy, he will learn to keep quiet.

Yes, it helps if you don't move. Or at least it does with my cats.

If he is hurting me I have no choice but I tried to bundle my feet up so he couldn't get to them.

At least he didn't turn over a plant during the night. I wake up to find that my Christmas Cactus was in the floor, I did put the plant back where it was and gave it water. I took out the trash which was heavy with cat litter and got the mail. I'm going to start reading The House with a Clock in its Walls.
