japanese boxes collage by hereandthere2019

the string that binds these small boxes reminds me of old notebooks when we were young. did you have them? i only noticed there was text inside the box when i took these pictures. as i was arranging them on the table, i noticed the red dots in each box. then it hit me it's supposed to be the sun, so i had to position them that way before i take the picture. i don't know where these came from, there's nothing else on the side or under the box. i just labeled it japanese because of the design. i like that you just flip the lid up and it drops back down. i used photocollage.com again. i learned that i had to click the 'auto collage' button again and again to make the 3 pictures move and move and move until i get the arrangement i like. where do you keep paper clips and rubber bands?

yes, so it's okay to put it out as a functional decor. then just peep through the hole to know which box we need to get something from.

@hereandthere haha that means almirah is a new word for you? Oh sorry dear, I thought it must be a familiar word for all.

is it alimarh or almirah? wikitionary says almirah means "cupboard, cabinet or chest of drawers."

Paper clips and rubber bands are so useful that we cannot live without them. I keep paper clips in my drawer while I hang a few rubber bands on a nail in the kitchen - siva

These are neat little boxes! I wonder if it could be Chinese (too bad I can't read the harder kanji's better but often when it's all kanji, it's Chinese - but I could be wrong). Our paper clips and rubber bands are in a boring clear plastic container . . . maybe a little bigger than your boxes here . . . and we keep it in a sort of junk drawer in the kitchen.

It's the first time I see such boxes. I like them very much. I keep my things in small plastic boxes in a drawer of my desk.

I like the design of those boxes and they do look like old books. Right now I don't seem to know where anything is.

Those boxes are much nicer than the ones I use for paper clips, rubber bands and other office supply items. I buy little Tupperware containers they sell at the Dollar store or Walmart. They come in various sizes.

Those boxes are beautiful. I keep my paper clips and rubber bands in small plastic boxes and they are neatly placed in drawer with other things like scissors, sewing kit ear buds etc. That is our miscellaneous drawer which comes to use so many times a day.

That's a nice keeper of clips. Mine is inside it's box always, at the office. Indeed they look, like Japanese writings.
