Are you saving up for anything currently?

Although it is not super expensive, I am currently saving up for a waterpik. I want to pay for it just with Amazon giftcards if possible, but I haven't been earning as many as I used to. I am tending to go for cash or virtual visa these days. I just got another 3 dollar certificate from Swagbucks..but I have about 10.00 more to go. Anything big or small you are saving for?

I got something on there once. It would take foever and a day to get any big ticket items though. I don't really need more "stuff" per se..but I could use a waterpik.

I have 5 upcoming paintball tournaments I have to save up for. It can easily run about $1000 per tournament, although some of those expenses can and will be reimbursed by our sponsors. But our team has to put up all the money up front, so that's what I have been saving for. . I also need to save up $2000 to replace the a/c in my truck, but I'm not in a hurry to do that. After my knee surgery, then I'll work on that as well.

2000 sounds like a lot for AC replacement. Why is it so expensive?

@snowy22315 It's where the condenser coil is placed in the truck. In order to get to it, you have to disassemble the interior dash of the truck. It take two days to take everything apart, replace the part, and then put everything back together again. The majority of that cost is labor.

@snowy22315 Unfortunately, when it comes to vehicle a/c's, they're never cheap to repair. I joked to the mechanic that gave me the estimate that I could buy a new a/c for my house for cheaper than the one for my truck!

@snowy22315 How interesting is that? Thanks for the link. We have a dental appointment next week. I might ask if he recommends it. I really hate flossing. I find it difficult to get to the back teeth.

There are two things that I want but I don't know which one I want more. I do really want a Nintendo Switch especially when the new Animal Crossing comes out. Plus, it would be fun to play some games with my mom. But I also want a tablet kind of like an iPad for drawing.

@snowy22315 I like my kindle but I would like a tablet that is better for drawing. I feel like I would get a lot more done if I didn't have to sit down at my computer all the time and travel freely haha

We will be needing a recliner in the near future but we should get a decent amount of taxes back because I have more than needed taken out this year. With that task money we will be replenishing out emergency fund and paying off two to three of our smaller credit cards. I could use another water pik. The rubber gasket follow from my last one and I never found it again. I had a single unit.

@snowy22315 Yes, I did, but my husband was the real breadwinner and deserves a pat on the back for being extremely wise and savvy. As a teacher, my earnings were just icing on the cake. I do receive a nifty pension though, thanks to all my degrees and no more state income taxes!

I have some gift cards saved on Petsmart so I can get cat food on there. But I'm not really saving up for anything. I may have to use up my Amazon Gift cards to get a new bowl and litter mat for Lily.

I have owned a pre-owned Bella and a pre-owned Keurig. Now, I want a brand-new Keurig with out problems. I guess thrift stores are not going to be brand-new and problem-free coffee contraptions. There are a ton of items I could go on and on about that I would like to save for.
