Nov-2011 my beginning living as a paraplegic. It was very depressing and I always wish I was dead (honestly) almost every day of my life. It took me time to be adjusted and just survive. June-2015 I had my own internet connection and along with that opens the door to teaching English online. So I applied twice and the latter one got me accepted. Since then up to the present I have been doing this job from 3 different platforms and keep discovering other ways to earn online. It feels so good and it feels so right like I'm back on my feet again. Currently, my goal is to further my study in college and get a major in English this coming school year. Good thing we have a state university within the town so tuition is not a problem. Life is so beautiful, it's only us who stop our dreams.

Very well done to you, it would be easy for someone in your situation to wallow in self-pity. I had a friend who was a tetraplegic (the result of an accident)so she was in a worse situation than you, but she concentrated on what she could do, not what she couldn't. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Actually, I hop from one platform to the other whenever I feel I'm not earning more to sustain my needs. Some platforms based on my experience are not getting more students. Keep moving and learn from the past, this is the best way to deal with it.

It's so nice to hear your experience. No one can keep us down but ourselves. As someone said, we can't stop the wind from blowing but we can adjust our sails!
