I'm usually good at keeping a confidence. When our granddaughter was about three, I told her not to tell her brother what his gift was going to be. She was so indignant and said, "I'm a good not-teller!" And she was.

@Marilynda1225 It might depend on the person saying..please don't tell, or whom I am speaking to. Sometimes I have told things that I think were implied were in confidence, but not specifically stated as such.

i am but sometimes it gets me in trouble cause usually someone else lets it out and then another person will be upset that i did not tell them.

It depends on whether it might harm them or someone else. I've kept secrets before but now I mostly get complained to.

@playertwo If someone asks me to "tell nobody", this means nobody. My husband has not a good memory, if I tell him, I am not sure it remains a secret.
