“April Fool” Came A Day Early

When I went to bed I fell asleep to the soft noise of rain on the roof of our house.
When I woke up at the crack of morning (about 5:30) I got up and went to the front of the house and was surprised to see so much snow. I was awed by the beautiful trees covered once again in the white stuff.... It really was pretty and its still snowing here in Canada.
When I got dressed I went outside to cleaned the snow off the porch, the stairs and out to the car...not because I was going anywhere, I just wanted to take some photos of the beautiful snow. Fingers crossed, it will not last a long time....Spring is tomorrow...

@PainsOnSlate Yes, there is the calendar spring and the weather spring! I live in the beautiful city of Montreal!

@1hopefulman I love Montreal but haven't been there for a long time. My husband was a football coach and I would take the kids to Montreal for a game and family time.

I know its been spring for a while but I just hope the snow will disappear on April Fools day... What part of Canada are you in? I just looked at the weather map and only a few parts of Canada is getting snow...I'm in the Niagara Area of Ontario and it looks like its going to be snowy for a while...

It was a rain-snow mix last evening when my husband and I went to bed.
We had at least 3 power outages during the night, and I can only assume it was weather-related.
We almost always get snowfall during March, and quite often during April. So, I am not going to cross that off of the list for next month-I'm not looking forward to it either though.
This week is going to be quite cool in our area, we'll see how long the snow hangs around for.

It is so beautiful and so messy at the same time. I'm not going anywhere today so I'm hoping by tomorrow the snow will be melted...So far we have computer and phone but no TV....

@marlina yesterday's snow was so different from the usual, it was so soft and the flakes were sooooo big. The trees were beautiful covered in soft flakes...thankfully there was no wind so the snow stayed in the trees. Every once in a while the wind made a lot of snow come off the trees. The top of my car had about 6 inches on the roof before we took it out...

It snowed all day but with only tiny snow flakes. I'm guessing three to six inches. By the end of the day the wind took all the snow off the trees and now we can see the grass around the yard. It was a beautiful day. I took lots of photos.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, the snow on the trees waw awesome. Today the snow is off the trees and I am ready for spring...

it was stuck to trees and tiny flakes all day long. About 4 to 6 inches on the ground and the top of my car. it was beautiful for the whole day, now its not so pretty and hope its gone in a few days...

The huge flakes and no wind was wonderful. it was like a winter movie... Enjoy your summer, I am looking forward to warmer weather.

Oh my! April Fools indeed. 
I've had snow in April before but not for many years and it is extremely rare to happen in NJ. I think you jinxed Spring temporarily in your other post when you mentioned the end of winter

OK so its my falult!!!
When i was in College I dated a guy from NJ, visited his family one summer...back then I was living in NYS and college was in Kansas. I will be very happy when spring actually arrives in Canada...

Its really cold here but summer is just around the corner... I imagine your weather is hot all year...
