Freaking A Little

I just posted about things that I am afraid of and as soon as I was finished, the strangest thing happened.
I am sitting at the dining room table mylotting. The TV is in front of me. My dogs are on the floor beside me. All of a sudden I saw and felt this big shadow go across me and my computer. I thought that my brother was awake and was standing behind me.
There was no one behind me. I couldn't think of anything it could have been. No shadow from the TV or lights from outside as its daylight now. Now I am a little freaked out.
I know a lot of people don't believe in ghosts or supernatural things but I do to some extent. I've experienced it before. I don't believe in everything someone may say about ghosts but I do believe they exist.
I've heard of shadow people. Now I'm not completely convinced they exist but it would describe what just happened. I really don't know what else to think. Does anyone have any ideas? Do you believe in shadow people?

@Tampa_girl7 It frighten me when I am "sure" that the "shadow" is my husband, but when I turn the head there is nothing. Usually after a few seconds my husband comes upstairs, this is weird.

Not really sure I believe in the supernatural. I do know how you can see things out the side of your eye or in other strange circumstances. On the other hand, you say it is daylight, so could a cloud have gone across the sun?

It could have been natural or supernatural, who knows? If that had happened to me, I would say a prayer and hope it never happens again.

I've experienced shadow people.
It's been many years ago now.
I was sitting in the living room one night and witnessed three crouched creatures go across the dining room and into a bedroom.

I think many of us have seen shadow people at one time or another, but I guess the big question would be: are they real, or are they our eyes or minds playing tricks on us?
In your situation, did your dogs react at all? In most instances of supernatural occurrences, animals can seem to sense what is going on and react to it.

I know my eyes weren't playing tricks on me as really did see the shadow. I have gone over every scenario in my head on what it could have been but I can't come up with anything except a ghost. As for my dogs, they were asleep. They didn't bark but I don't know what they did if anything because I was so focused on what I saw and what it could have been.

@moffittjc that's what I am thinking but it could be something else that I haven't thought of. I guess the only way I will know for sure is if it happens again which I don't want.

@simone10 That is pretty freaky that you clearly saw the dark shadows, but could come up with no reasonable explanation. It's entirely possible that it was some kind of ghost or spirit.

I see the same thing once in a while. Years ago i was babysitting for a good friend, my young daughter was with me and had a sleep over with the child that lived there. I knew there was a ghost in the house but had never met him when my friend Joanie was there...This night he stood right behind me and I told him i was a friend and leave me alone and he did..... it was my first visit with a ghost and I'm glad I stood to him and he left me alone....

@simone10 I didn't see him I could feel his presence, I knew he liked my friend who lived in the house so I felt like he was testing me and I won.

@PainsOnSlate and when my friend moved a young couple rented the house and got their furniture in and were comfortable for a day, the ghost moved all their furniture all over the house that night....they left on the 2nd day and told that story to a neighbor...

Sounds like you are somewhat a sensitive, meaning ghost are drawn to you.
I am but I block them out and when I see one anyways I tell them no and go away. Since I cannot sage my home because of Tony`s breathing problems I use salt. I make a complete line up against the walls and finish by tossing it out the door , all the while saying over and over "Only good may stay here"
I do this about once a month to every other month.
I have also had a Reiki master cleanse my homes. @whiteream is a reiki master, she helped me 100%
