Doodles was Chilly

Happy Saturday everyone!
It’s a beautiful day here in South Florida and to think that for the past 5 years, we would have been up north at our house by now. Now that we became Florida residents, we can enjoy the sunshine and warmth every day until we return north in June.
Although our sons who live up north have seen warmer weather, it’s still too cold for me. It seems that it’s too chilly for Doodles the cat as well. Last night Doodles the cat enjoyed a rip roaring fire in his daddy’s house.
If I was any fatter than I am right now, I’d fly north just to hide beneath a coat.

It did get chilly again here up north and I had to put the heat on once again. Doodles looks purrfectly content in front of that fire

It has been a bit dull and grey (Normal for the UK) Hmm Stay put in the warmth of Florida!

We used fire wood to cook in the good old days and cats always were seen around it

@allknowing Not here. We have it all. So did my mother and grandmother, although my grandmother had her struggles.

It was a little chilly this morning, but is now beautiful and springlike about 65 degrees with bright sunshine.

@myklj999 Holy cow! I noticed your replies to him under his different name. I'm glad I asked and happy you replied to me. I had no idea about my messages and will give them a check. I'm always hitting the wrong buttons on here with my fat fingers. Thanks for getting back to me and so soon.
