A Whirlwind Few Days

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a bright sunny day here with mild temperatures. I took the dogs out and it's beautiful enough to keep the sliding door to the deck open and get some fresh air in the house.
The past few days have been very busy with Easter, family etc and a whirlwind of activities.
Yesterday my middle daughter and my two granddaughters along with my daughter in law and two grandsons came for a visit since we weren't together for Easter. Both my son and son in law had to work but we all had a fun day.
We had pizza for lunch and then went to the local arcade where the kids could play laser tag. They had a ball and it certainly gave them plenty of exercise.
Today life is a bit slower thank goodness.
I'm going to try hard to catch up here along with getting the house back in order. It's in serious need of vacuuming.

Its so nice to have you back again, and I'm sure that your dogs are happy to have you all to themselves again too. It was so nice that your celebrating was spread out over 2 days.
I'm having a slower day today. I only have to work a half day, so this morning I went out shopping and picked up a couple of cute new tee shirts. They were on sale for half price, and I could use some new ones to go with my jeans.

My grandson will be here until the weekend and then goes back to school next week. My week won't be as busy but having another person in the house throws off my routine a little. He's no trouble at all but I feel like I cater to him when he's here since he gets very little attention at home. Long story.

It's always busy when the grandchildren are here. It's always nice to see them come but always happy to see them go too

Its been good here. I just cant get very motivated. Warm but too windy to do what I want outside and dont want to work inside.

I'm at that time of year where both my personal life and my work life are absolute whirlwinds, and it will probably remain that way from now through the end of the summer. I'm so glad that retirement is on the near horizon for me!
