Sorry I haven't been on here much today. I've been busy running errands and doing things around the house. I'm tired and resting now so of course I have to go to my lot. While I'm sitting with my feet up, I'm eating some of the last of our Easter jelly beans. I love jelly beans but my favorite flavor is licorice. Since I am the only one in my family who likes licorice, everyone gives me any they have. I know not everyone likes jelly beans, especially licorice ones, but if you do what is your favorite flavor?

I don't mind jelly beans, but I haven't bought any for us in a few years. I do like the watermelon flavoured ones the best I think. I cut back on the chocolate that I bought this year, we don't need it and a little really does go a long ways.

@SIMPLYD Lol...oh well. The flavor is hard to describe. Sweet but it has a slight bitter taste.

I bought some chocolate bunnies today. I do believe that the store had jelly beans but I chose to get the chocolate instead. I will eat licorice, but they aren't my favorite. I don't really have a favorite flavor per se.

My husband likes "real" licorice, the doctor suggested him to eat licorice because it raises the blood pressure, he has too low BP.

@simone10 I know that most of what is sold as "licorice" is not at all. I just checked the ingredients of "licorice" jelly beans, they are all fake, no licorice in the ingredients. INGREDIENTS: SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, COLOR ADDED, BLUE 2 LAKE, YELLOW 6 LAKE, BEESWAX, CARNAUBA WAX, CONFECTIONER'S GLAZE.

@Nevena83 oh, it's kind of hard to explain. They are very sweet, made with a lot of sugar and different flavorings like lemon, orange, grape.

I love liquorice! Never tried it as a jelly bean though, aren't they quite sweet? I like both sweet and salty liquorice, I think my favourite must be the salty one combined with chocolate.

Yes jelly beans are almost pure sugar. I've never had licorice that is salty or with chocolate.

I do like jelly beans and I'm the only one who will eat the black ones. I like them but the yellow or orange are my favorites.

I like them all. Did you know that there was a woman in Canada who over dosed on Liquorice she ate loads and loads of it every day and ended up with cardiac arrythmias. So don't get like her and eat too much!

@simone10 It is only if you eat lots and lots of it Sharon! The Doctors were puzzled until they noticed her gorging herself on Liquorice then they realised why!
