Transferred some money from Paypal to my bank account

I've been letting the random money that I get in Paypal accumulate for a couple of months. We got paid here at myLot today so I decided to see how much I had sitting there. It was $56. I decided to transfer it to my bank account which I've never done before. I normally send it to others or spend it online. But I'm nervous about my finances these days and $56 will fill up the tank of my convertible with gas like twice. Or it is a big chunk towards the weekly grocery bill. What did you do with your myLot payment? Or what do you have planned for it?

I consider mine as a "rebate" off of my cellphone bill. I pay my cellphone bill around the 12th of the month. One month I ended up making about $17.00 here which is about half of what I pay on my cellphone bill each month.

@NJChicaa You couldn't just pay your share of the cellphone bill and stay on the same plan? My best friend actually still has her ex husband and his ex girlfriend on her family plan. They just pay her every month.

Happy Payday! I didn't get paid. But I will for next month. I save my money in Paypal and use it when I need it or transfer it to my bank.

It always goes into the bank. Savings or investment. I never spend the principal, but I am always happy to spend the proceeds. I think this is the best way to deal with this extra money we enjoy.

@NJChicaa I always live below my means so that is never an issue for me. But I do understand not everyone deals with their finances like I do.

Money already automatically transferred to bank as soon it received by papal. We can't keep money in paypal. So $5.91 I got in my bank. There is no plan for this money, I wish to keep the same in bank till I need it.

I leave mine in the paypal account, and like you, I will give it away or buy things online with it. Don't forget to let it pile up some more so that you've got an emergency fund.

I immediately send it into my special savings account where it collects a higher interest rate than other banks. I use half my earnings every month and send it to our favorite charity (with a little from our checking account) and the check is already in a stamped envelope.

I didn't get paid by myLot, but when I do, it is lumped in with my mystery shopping money that gets paid into PayPal. Most months I transfer it to my bank account. Occasionally I have bought stuff online with PayPal.

First off congrats on earning so much and on having a convertible. Second, now that we are finally adulting on our own I will be using my earnings towards helping out with bills, groceries, and necessities like that.

I usually get all my payments due in PayPal and the leave a little in there and transfer everything to my bank account. My myLot payment is now added to the money I left in PayPal and I will keep writing and then add whatever other payments are coming and transfer at the end of the week.
