Democrats Should Learn from the Republicans' Mistakes...

Back in the 90s we Republicans thought we had Prs. Clinton on the ropes. He had an affair with an intern, lied about it, got his wife to lie about it, got his administration to lie about it, but then he did the one thing he could actually be punished for... he lied about it under oath. Instead of being the devastating One Two Punch the Republicans expected, it actually made Bill Clinton more popular. Democrats came to his defense, actually praising his prowess as a good liar. Moderates saw him as a victim of the mean ol' GOP, and the Incompetent Press made it all about the affair instead of the under oath lie. The last 3 years have brought on a lot of flashbacks to the 90s, but in reverse. The Republicans have echoed all the same lines the Democrats used to defend Clinton in defense of Trump. Now the House Democrats are following suit by setting up the same mistake the Republicans made back then. The two criminal parties really do need to find new material in their Partisan Vaudeville act. Yes, the actions are as old and tired as a Vaudeville show... Trump won the 2016 election. There will be ample opportunity to try to defeat him in 2020. Trying to reverse the last election just makes the DNC look like the mindless morons they are. Of course, there is a huge chance Trump will win in 2020, which I'm sure will drive the Democrats beyond calling for impeachment. I'm betting they will be all about assassination, of not only Trump, but his supporters.

There are tons of differences between the current situation and Bill Clinton. For one thing, Bill Clinton is massively popular. For another, Bill was guilty of lying about an affair not serious crimes like collusion, obstruction and many more. This is like Watergate.

At what cost to the House Democrats? They have a real risk if being exposed for their own crimes. Which I'm guessing is why Pelosi is so adamantly against impeaching. They risk both a backlash in favor of Trump and being investigated themselves all because they can't handle the fact they're criminal candidate lost in 2016. Btw, that second part would be a reason I hope they push it. I hope the while gaggle is exposed for the garbage they are.

@ParaTed2k No, Nancy is reluctant because her rich donors don't want impeachment. Thet would open too many doors for people like Bernie. Who is already way too popular for their comfort. Your only hope is that the big money people win. Are you enjoying your recent abortion wins? Live it up while you can because you have a zero chance of winning in the long term. You have a billion to one chance of having it this way for the rest of your lifetime.

@xander6464 Well, there is that too. Pelosi knows the blood bath that would come with impeachment proceedings. No secret will be left unrevealed in Washington. She can't control what the Judicial Committee asks, or how any of the people on the hot seat answer. Especially while under oath. I actually hope they do try to impeach Trump for that very reason. As for abortion, we already understand each other on that issue. A flaming pox on the genitals of any putrid demon who performs an abortion on demand. There is nothing about them worth any level of respect. May they rot in the filth of their worthlessness. Other than that, I have no opinion. lol

After reading your discussion. Its looks like I am referring to India my own country. Politics always play game and try to win with their Slogan and many times we citizen fall in trap and voted to them. Its' look like our sub conscious mind work, and forget to analyse their works critically
