So, I had seen on Paypal they had 50 percent off Walgreens online, I was like Joy, since I wanted something there that was a bit expensive. So, anyway, looking at it today, again it turns out it was just for "top deals". Anyway, so I go to place my order, and of course like most stores the shipping is free if you have it sent to the store..first of all, "my store" and zipcode was coming up as Lynchburg, nowhere close to here..then, when I got the store straight, it would not give me ship to store as an option. I called Walgreens, CS whereas she said, that must mean not available to ship to store. I gave her the info on the product and she said yes, it did apply so she could ship the order to the store..Then the PP debit/credit card wouldn't work..etc. etc. The whole thing was a waste of time, I will end up just going to the store.sigh!

I bought my son a laptop this week. Rather then wait the 5 days for it to arrive with the free shipping I drove up and pick I'd it up I went geocaching and grocery shopping while I was out. Today my son's online order from eBay came. It wasn't the right item inside the box so now I have to package it back up and drive it somewhere to return it. I think I have to go to UPS and that is a 30 mile drive. With my vans transmission dying I can't go over 45 mph so that 30 mile drive would take me an extra 15 minutes longer then usual. I'm not very happy.

@snowy22315 you and I are in the same boat then. My son said he doesn't mind keeping the wrong toy so I emailed the seller and said even though it's the wrong one and the toys inside aren't damaged from the packaging being crushed we will keep it if he would be willing to refund a few dollars if not we will send it back.

Yeah, it's always something! We used to have a pack and ship store in town, it went out of business, then another one opened and it is now closed..so the options are to drive 45 minutes to Richmond..or pay UPS to pick something up..what a PIA!

Online shopping is a lot easier if things falls your way, and yes, sometimes they are too hassles.

Yes, I find it really depends on what retailers you use. Some are basically hassle free, and others are a pain in the neck.
