Bad Weather

I am heading to another province via a two hour ferry for my Predeparture Seminar tomorrow. Apparently there is a low pressure area and the clouds look so scary.
I hope the trip goes well. I wouldn’t have taken this trip if I had a choice but I can’t reschedule my seminar. Have you ever travelled when the weather is not so ideal?

@Miss_Leafy Yes I am cooped up in the hotel. I ordered food to be delivered. This weather is not good for going out.

Not by plane or by a boat. There were several instances we had to drive on a very terrible weather though.

That’s also dangerous like the roads get slippery and also the visibility is impaired. Does it flood often from where you are?

I've been on a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea when we had to be diverted due to an approaching hurricane. The powerful storm kept us at sea two extra days before we could finally sail into our port of call.

@flapiz The Caribbean is very nice. The pirates aren't as bad as they used to be, although there are still a few around.

I prefer staying home when its ugly out, it rained here all weekend so I spent it home watching movies on Netflix relaxing

Yes I had faced such a bad weather. That was the first time when the flight started bumping and the luggage were falling from upwards. I was sure that our life was coming to an end. Thankfully GOD saved all of us. Wish the weather will be better soon and you will have a safe journey. May GOD bless you and your tour for the seminar.

Oh that’s terrible but I feel more at ease cause you lived to tell the tale. It’s starting to get bumpy and I am feeling seasick. God help me indeed. Thanks for your prayers.

It was allowed. Although I hope tomorrow when I head home I hope it will be the same case. I don’t want to pay for the hotel if I get stranded.

I was one a plane during a terrible storm and it was so scary but we managed and landed safely. Stay safe!

That must be really horrendous since you can see the lightning. Plus the turbulence too. I wonder which is worst storm and you’re on the sea or on air.
