How deep is your sleep?

I have an extremely sensitive sleep. Even a mild disturbance can make me wake up. Moreover, I can never fall back to sleep. On the contrary mu husband is a deep sleeper. It takes a lot of calling and noise to wake him up. Sometimes I wonder how is it possible for anyone to sleep so deep? What kind of sleep do you have?

The last two days was able to sleep soundly because the weather was far more cooler than the other days. It has been raining here every night the last few days so sleeping is much easier to do. But the last two days was a bit stressful because of my son being sick with fever the past three days already. I am not able to sleep straight through the night because of this.

@amitkokiladitya True that is very distressing. They just came from the doctor and said that it's more probable viral infection and does not show any signs of serious illness. But he has to be observed further if his condition does not improve in the coming days.

I can understand how bad it is when the kids are unwell. I really wish he gets better soon.

@amitkokiladitya I do not know why I have trouble falling asleep. I see my cat and it looks like she just lays down and falls asleep and I wonder why can't i do that.

Hello! I can't really define that, since if my day was very hard, I can fall asleep deeply and the opposite can happen. Now there is something I have noticed, if you have something pending when you wake up, if you get used to the sound of the alarm, if there is a different sound to the one you sleep every day, that causes reactions. Not going back to sleep is what I say and your mind started working with so many things to do.

Yes...this usually happens when there is something in my mind which is disturbing me.

@amitkokiladitya It may seem silly to you, but in my method, I try to have an idea and my imagination is great, it helps me ... I start daydreaming something that pleases me, something that I would like to do and so I free my mind, until I stay asleep

@rdcaruci yes...I do this sometimes but not always. This really helps me to sleep later on but focussing my mind to think and imagine gets tough attimes.

There were instances that I have not heard anything. My brother work at night. We rent an apartment, a studio type, no room. We have a separate bed which close each other. I have never heard him leave. When I woke up around 3 am, he was gone for that certain night.
