Another Big Attack in Texas today

I have been watching the tv almost all day as there was a big shooting and many people were killed and others injured. So many people cannot find their loved ones and are expecting them to be dead.
The television has been covering this whole story since it happened. The last count I heard that have died was 20 and many more injured. It is heart breaking.
Will it ever stop?

@ramapo17 - Ever since they lifted the assault weapon ban, the number of mass shootings have sky-rocketed. In the Ohio shooting, nearly 30 people were shot, 9 of them fatally, in less than ONE MINUTE, even though there were police nearby. I don't think it will ever stop until they ban those weapons of war again and institute strict, nationwide background checks.
In El Paso, there were many people who were armed in the Walmart store, but they were not able to stop the shooter because he had an assault weapon. In fact, at first the police did not know who to detain, because so many of the civilians were armed. Open-carry does not protect people against assault weapons, either.
We also need better mental health care in this country.
We need to have a president who emphatically condemns all types of hate language and changes the way he himself talks about minorities, too.
There are actions which could be taken, without restricting the rights of hunters, but I don't see our leaders taking them. The public is going to have to vote the obstructionists out.
Within hours of you writing this post, we had a second mass shooting in Ohio. It is heartbreaking. The situation has become desperate. I have heard people ask if I think it is safe to go to a movie. We never even thought about that 20 years ago.

That is so sad news and i don't know why people like to kill others and not allow to live other peacefully. I also read in news just now and some are caught who did this . i wish let them to give to public and beat them and also kill them.

Seems USA is always having those these days. maybe because of so many cultures? ethnic groups. or maybe because of all the media we hear about them more. don't know.

My suggestion to you is to stop watching TV. The entire world is going to hell all around us, that is for sure, so that last thing I would want to do is watch it happen on TV.
