My fiance just lost his job. Just when things were going good in our lives and really looking up. Financially we were doing so well for the first time in a long time and now we are back to just my income and to barely surviving. Jobs are hard to come by and it took him years to find that one so who knows what lies ahead for us but it isn't good. I know I haven't been here much but I just need somebody to talk to. I am feeling pretty upset and sad and I don't want to show him those feelings. I know he is feeling the same way and I don't want to add to that. :(

Bummer 
Easy to write hard to apply but I hope he does find another job soon! Not sure in Canada, but will be get some sort of unemployment in the meantime to help out a little until he can find another job.

i know this feeling. you are right. dont show it that you are sad. just cheer him up. i remember one of your post. last year i think. you were so happy then when your.fiance got a job. maybe he can resort to other.fields. keep on praying. God Jah knows what you need. have faith.

@Janet357 Thanks you are so right. My faith will get me through this. We have had more then our share of rough times with jobs and health issued but we get through them. Giving up in never an option.

@Happy2BeMe dont worry, i experienced that too, And am sure a lot of mylotters.experienced that too. but there was something better in.store for us.
there was a time that i could hardly find.a job when i got.it, i.just worked for 1.5 years and started my small.business.
sometimes creating an opportunity is the solution to our problem.

That is tough. Can he get unemployment at least? He may have to do something he doesn't want to do for awhile.

Yes he will be able to if he has enough hours worked. It will take a month or more to get that up and running.

He will be able to but there is always a waiting period and time before it goes through. It can take a month or more so In the mean time there will be no money coming in but what I make. Oh well we will get through it someway somehow.

Oh, I'm sorry for you both. Don't worry at all.. I know you are feeling that it's difficult to get another job soon for your husband, but just remember whatever happens is all for our good. Wait patiently and leave it to the almighty. He is already working on a better plan for you guys. Just don't leave hope.
You must be pushing with lots of responsibilities on your head. But, this too shall pass. I will surely keep you in my prayers. Just hold on to this. Hugs!!

bless both y'alls hearts, hon. 'tis 'lways diff'cult when one loses their job. self-esteem goes right out the window'n many cases. i hope he's able to find somethin' soon. perhaps he could do some local volunteerin' there'n y'alls community? does wonders fer ya when ya feel ya can help somebody free 'f charge. gets ya out'ta the house 'n meet new folks. perhaps e'en somebody who knows 'f the perfect job fer him'n his skills.

I know exactly how you feel. It always seems when things start going well look out because something is going to happen, atleast that's how it goes for me. I am going through a similar rough financial situation myself but hang in there. You can only do what you can do. I know that from experience. If you need a listening ear I am here for you.
