What is your approach to solving problems? The best thing is to foresee a problem and deal with it before it comes. Prevention is best! Proverbs 14:15 (Amplified Bible) 15 The naive or inexperienced person [is easily misled and] believes every word he hears, But the prudent man [is discreet and astute and] considers well where he is going. Proverbs 27:12 (Amplified Bible) 12 A prudent man sees evil and hides himself and avoids it, But the naive [who are easily misled] continue on and are punished [by suffering the consequences of sin]. So keep an eye out for danger or a possible problem and see if you can avoid it all-together! Next best is to tackle the problem quickly before it grows too much. A small problem that is neglected can become a big problem with big consequences. At the first sign of trouble, act quickly about trying to fix it! What is your experience and approach to tackling problems?

I agree with you. It is best that we foresee and avoid problems that can be avoided before it comes

Yes, there are a lot of problems that we can avoid if we act wisely. The Bible has a lot of wisdom that can help us avoid problems.

Great! Skirting the problem is not a good thing to do. I find that making prayer the first step is a real help.

@just4him I came up with this saying. Prayer should be the first recourse and not the last resort.

It is good to prevent problems..This is a great scripture.. I wish I would have been wise enough to follow it before I got married a long time ago.. I hope to have learned more since then..

We may do all the right things but people change and there is no way to predict what they will do in the future. One day, God will give each one of us the desires of our heart and we will be eternally happy.

The thing is to try to minimize problems. I try to be on top of things. Avoid what I can and tackle quickly wnat cannot be avoided.

@1hopefulman You cannot imagine how dangerous it could be to "minimize problems". Better to face the reality.

I too deal with problems directly--but I don't try o wrestle them to the ground. Usually, the simplest solution is the best--it is just a matter of figuring that out--

The thing is to find a good way to deal with problems when they come and even before they come. Whatever works for each of us is great!

@1hopefulman I may know that a problem is coming down the pike, and mentally prepare for it, but I seldom am proactive enough to deal with it before it arises--although I believe that would be best

Well I created my own problems mostly as I was so naive in earlier years. Now I am very very cautious and careful. I pray for guidance to God also.

We often learn by making mistakes and wrong choices. W also learn that it's wise to seek good direction. God has given us a guide to the happiest way to live. We need to be humble.

Yes, there are simple problems and complicated ones and we face a variety of problems. It is good go have an approach, a plan of attack, to dealing with any and all problems. 1) Read the Bible daily 2) Pray daily for deliverance from temptations and evil (Matthew 6:13 King James Version) 3) Do not go looking for problems 4) Avoid them if al all possible 5) If you are having difficulties then seek good advice and help

Thanks for bringing up that good point. It is good to consult with those that might know better or have a lot of experience when we face a problem. Proverbs 15:22 (Easy-to-Read Version) 22 If you don’t ask for advice, your plans will fail. With many advisors, they will succeed.

I am proactive with solving most problems. It is best to tackle a small problem before it becomes beyond our control. Whatever the issues; bills, miscommunications in marriage or with friends ignoring them will not make them go away. Also, as the proverb mentions...be aware of potential things which can become a problem. Preparedness and how you might deal with it can make you better able to cope with those problems.
