A husband can be a couch potato or a real helping hand. How about yours?

If they ever was, I'd sort them out! I'll turn into the potato instead!

My husband works hard, you can't hardly get him to take a day off from work even if he feels bad. He also works at home after work, mowing the yard, taking the trash out or doing things for me.

You know its the best way to live one's life. We make our lives miserable by yearning for bigger things. But forget that only the little things really make a difference. You seem a nice person

Mine is pretty lazy! Although if I specifically ask him to do something he usually will. But who wants to keep asking someone to do something so I do most of it on my own!

Thanks for digging up this discussion again. Oh yes. It is easier to do something on your own than keep on asking.

Yea, I hate being a nagger, and then they complain about us nagging them to do something. Well if they did it in the first place we wouldn't be nagging. Yup, I'm a "Nagger" of needs be.

My husband is one in a million. He helps around the house with washing dishes, helping with meals, organizing stuff. He's better at decorating then I am. He also does a lot of yard work, so I try and keep up the house as best I can. My husband also is great at getting the kids to get their chores done. We're both couch potatoes at times, which I think is good to do at times, to slow down and not take life so seriously all the time.

Its the main idea of this discussion. To help wives to think about what and what not their husbands are doing for them. If you read from the beggining, you will be able to compare with others and be happy about what you have. Good luck

My hubby has learned what it's like to piss me off by doing nothing around the house. There was a time he would watch me break my back cleaning and just lounge on the sofa watching TV, UNTIL I went on strike and the sight of piling up dishes and dirt made him cringe!

My hubby is very helpful indeed. most of it is cooking. he is excellent cooker and often made me suprised with her new found meal or drink. He almost do everything, such fixing the things around the house, washing the clothes, vacumming the dust, or cleaning the bathroom. The only stuff he hates doing is ironing the clothes.

Do you understand how lucky you are? It is very difficult to find such a nice person these days. Treat him the way he deserves and be thankful every day. You are a very very very lucky wife. Good Luck

My hubby is so wonderful. He helps me a lot--starting from taking care of the baby to cooking for me. He even does many household works when I'm very tired.I'm really very proud of my husband.

My husband is the bread winner of our home. To me, that is the biggest help that he can be to our family. Because he has taken on the sole responsibility of providing for us I am free to do housework, cleaning, and caring for the children during the day. I like to have our home clean and peaceful when my husband arrives home from work to show he is appreciated for his hard work. If my husband sees that I need help with one of our 3 children then he steps in. And he takes care of some household things that I am not knowledgeable about - like home and car repairs. So he is definitely very helpful in our family.

You know your hubby is very lucky to have a wife like you cos you appreciate. That's one of the basic requirements in a marriage. Keep it up and let him know.
