Life will never feel like it is supposed to.

I remember this one time in my second year in campus when I was struggling to be like other people. I was so used to comparing myself with the other girls in campus and feeling sorry for myself that I wasn't good enough like them. What a waste of time that was!. I am glad though that I have something to look back on and appericiate where I am currently. There is nothing in life like 'supposed to.' It is the leading cause of Obsessive Comparison Disorder with everyone who 'has it better.' No one has it all figured out. No one holds their first child with all the answers. We shouldn't live our lives comparing it to others and thinking that we are not living the life we are 'supposed to.' Where you are right now, the things you are doing right now and the conditions you are currently living with are exactly where you ought to be. Have a great time my friends. Photo is from google go.

The grass may look greener on the other side and looks can be deceiving.

Looks can be deceiving also because we all see things differently, we have different set of mind and what input we get, it gets processed in our mind. Different mind gives different results.

@stringer321 That's true! The thing is to find in life what makes us happy.

@1hopefulman so if hurting others makes me happy, just go for it ? I think we need slowly to change our mind to like better things that are good for everyone. It can be done with examples from the environment.

Don't compare anyone with yourself because you are the one who knows the best for yourself

@Starkinds that's right, my friend, only we know ourselves the best way. We know what is the most comfortable thing for ourselves, what is the best for ourselves. Many times, it comes from our environment, culture, education from home that changed our habits and made us what we are.

Rule number six just kicks :-) No one chooses where to be born at, what parents to have, and what environment to have, what DNA to have... Life don't give us a choice so, most of our life results are not from ourselves. We can choose to have a different environment later, and get better examples. Being jealous with others can bring motivation for a change in life. How do we make that change ? It is better if we do it in a positive way, we don't suffer from feeling lower than others, we feel good we have somewhere to improve. Can you please make more discussions about other rules that came before and after rule number 6 ?

Comparing yourself with others will only bring you pain.

@a_jerobon You are right in what you said. We need to be ourselves and not want to be like someone else. No one is perfect. Everyone has flaws. Some have more than others.

We have to compare with ourselves and see if we change/evoluate or not.
