Where's That Smell Coming From?

It’s just around 4:00 in the afternoon here. The weather is gloomy and there’s an occasional drizzle from time-to-time which is not bad at all. While doing some of my thing, there’s this pleasant smell coming in to my senses. It’s a smell of a BROILED FISH coming from elsewhere in the neighborhood. It’s very pleasant that it makes me hungry and wanting to eat the same. Good thing I have bread with Mung beans paste/jam filling. I hope that everything is OK wherever you are. Good morning/afternoon/evening.

Have a soda with your mongo bread. That will make you forget the broiled fish, waheehee.

Maybe that is the effect when you have rainy day when someone is cooking the smell spread horizontally rather than go straight up when it is sunny/fair day.

It might be your next door neighbor that is cooking the fish. It can't be elsewhere farther, I don't think.

Yes, you are right. It's just on the next door.

@ZedSmart I usually like the smell of food that is cooking, but I cannot remember that I ever liked the smell of fish cooking, not even the fish that I like most.

I don't know but it's pleasant and tempting Ms.Anna. Not the typical odor of burnt scales or skin.

Why is that? If for ours, we do not have that particular craving.
