the smell and taste of durian fruit

hi everyone
today I read on the news online,
about durian food.
I read people abroad did not like durian because of the smell and taste.
yes even though according to indonesian people taste and smell very good.
some say the smell of durian is like the smell of rotten sewage,
and some say the smell of durian like the smell of socks.
what do you think all about the smell and taste of durian?

@leny34 I don't think it is sold here, but I have found jackfruit in a couple of places. I didn't buy it though.

I tried Durian fruit jam in Singapore and it was really good. I could not try the fruit. It's smell was too repelling.

Whatever is being said about durian it is one of my favorite fruits This fruits are abundant in my place in the months of september until the first few days of december.
