My husband woke me this morning asking for the thermometer for our 9 year old. Because last night I told her if she wasn’t feeling well in the morning to have daddy check her out. So he did a little check of her glans. He said they where a little swallowed so he wanted to see how warm she is. He came back up a few minutes later saying he’s going to keep her home. I told him alright and how hot was she. 100.3 so warm enough that the nurse at school would have called home. So my husband brought the 7 year old to school . He couldn’t get through the hotline for call outs so when he was walking up our 7 year old the nurse saw him and commented that we where missing a child. My husband told her that the 9 year old was sick. And the nurse said they the kids that had Flu B in her class are now getting flu A and is been going around. Well great a second round of the flu possibly.

I hope the flu will pass soon. It's because of the weather change, the flu's peak season. Better to keep them at home if you can until they recover.

Flu is all year around. So not so much because of the change of weather there is more then 1 type of flu there is several different strains and you can get any one of them, any time if the year just during the winter people are indoor more so they are more changes of getting it.

@besweet yes that’s because people are inside more. Contact with one another is more likely. Especially with children that often forget to wash after visiting the bathroom, or forget to Cover mouth and so on. I know how it goes my husband works in the medical field.

Thai test the kids haven’t been that sick. But they did end up with the flu a few weeks ago and now it’s going back around. So no surprise she got a different flu there is so many of them.
