im trying to eat less carbs but i have a major problem...i LOVE rice and eat it every day. i never feel full unless i eat rice, but i think its time to stop. what kind of foods can i eat instead of rice (and pasta or bread) that can still make me feel full but be healthy??

If you want to replace rice and need the feeling of fullness then add some protein powder available with many companies to your chapatis etc, that will give you a feeling of fullness and energy as well.

same here, i love rice as well..pastas and breds. you can have brown rice...it had less carbs...whole wheat as well. we all need carbs its just the right ones. vegtables are also filling, they have some carbs in it but not as much as rice. you also should try eating more times a day. a little every 2-3 hours...probably about 6 times a day. if you do that then you won't feel the need to be full. also you should never eat until your full. all portions should be about the size of your palm. also meal replacement bars and protien bars are always good. shakes fill you up. those things are good for in between the major meals.
