Screaming headlines in newspapers are Number of Coronavirus positive cases is going up. Empty roads, closed malls, cinema halls, swimming pools, religious places. Flights and trains cancelled. 60% of train tickets cancelled. Every second or third person on the roads wearing mask. I don't have words to tell you how badly I miss the good "old" days.

Our roads are almost empty and restaurants, cafees, movie theaters and most stores are closed. It is very different from the world we are used to. I miss many things, but at least I have plenty of things to do inside the house.

@Shivram59 My brother and his family are in quarantine. My husband and I are not in quarantine, but the authories has asked everyone to stay inside as much as possible. We have started ordering food online, instead of going out. It is still possible to use public transportation here, but people who are older than 65 are not allowed to use busses, trains or other kinds of public transportation.

@Porcospino In my town also everything from roads to malls to theaters and shops are shut.Villagers no more come to our town to sell their stock. We all in our family are in quarantine.Tomorrow our country is going to observe a public curfew day.Today the railway has advised people not to travel by train.

@Porcospino Here in our town most people are in self imposed quarantine.Today railway has advised people not travel by train.Buses are running, but with only a few passengers. We have sufficient stock of food in our family. All senior citizens ( people above 60 ) are staying indoors. And as many as 13 of 29 districts of our state are locked down.

I think we all are missing that. And somehow this whole crisis points at introspection by the whole humanity. We need to go back to the lifestyle of old golden days. We need to slow down.

@arunima25 You are absolutely correct. This unprecedented crisis calls for introspection. If we realise this, then we will also realise that this crisis has a positive aspects as well. Now we have slowed down, now we are spending more time with our families.now our rivers are less polluted and air pollution is now reduced due to less traffic on the roads.

@Shivram59 You are so right. I have seen families going back to playing cards, ludos and carrom. And bonding over it. So definitely it has brought some good. And people should wake up and follow few things even when crisis is over.

@arunima25 Perhaps evil too has a good aspect. Now you see only a few cars and bikes on roads. So air pollution has drastically come down. Our rivers are now purer than what they were just a couple of months ago.Now we spend more time with our families.

@snowy22315 That's exactly what I do.And that's the only way out.Without adhering to the guidelines we can't defeat the deadly virus. From today till 14 th of April we are in complete lockdown.I'm at home and feeling bore. It's the time for my evening walk, but I can't go out.But I know I should keep indoors .That's the only way to make the good old days to come.

@snowy22315 Absolutely. When the virus subsides, it will be a new world. We all are missing the days before the advent of the virus. And we all are waiting for the days when the virus ends.Let us pray.

Well the way things are going, the new normal would be very different! And even partially "normal" would take time.

@Shivram59 Yes, and we cannot open up the things suddenly, as that can make things worse. But doing so slowly would also need planning and wait and watch approach.

@saumitra1 My concern is different. Now the atmosphere is clear and getting clearer everyday. This is only due to the lockdown. But lockdown has to end one day.It can't be continued for ever.My concern is, immediately after the lockdown ends, the same pollution, the same rush, the same cutthroat competitions will be back.

@LowRiderX Every evil has a bright aspect. In the unprecedented situation we are in many good things are happening. In my town now the sky is blue and clear. The quality of air is significantly improved, there is almost no pollution in water bodies. Even law and order situation is also encouraging. The average of crime has drastically come down.....I have not seen any newspaper in last one month ,because all publications are locked. I used to read newspaper everyday, but now I'm learning how to live without things I used to think we're indispensable for me. Despite all this,I know, all this is temporary.Once the lockdown will be called off , we will go back to our old world.

@LowRiderX Thanks for responding.Yes,we are meeting after quite a long time.Where were you?? You are right. The so called "good old days "will be back soon. But coronavirus has brought back the better old days when I was a child. These days remind me of the time when air was purer, water bodies were unpolluted, when we had more time to spend with our families, when there was no traffic,,no rush......

@Shivram59 I started another business, which is currently on stand-by because of the situation and then i didn't have time for the site I rarely came, only writing a few comments.. In all the bad things that happen to us, I am convinced that there is something good, at least nature will recover a little, there are no cars in this amount, for example... This will end soon and i can't wait, the weather is perfect, spring is here, i miss nature ..
