Breakfast time. I have quince jam.

I asked my daughter to buy some quince jam for me the last time she went to the supermarket. I am needing more sweet food than before. I wonder if it has to do with this confinement. I still have bread, some butter, honey and jam. I have not wanted to ask for salami or other such thing. Salty food is an addiction for me. Anyway, my coffee is calling me. See you around in a few minutes.

In these times, I need to make my food last. So I must have around food that I eat in normal quantities.

Quinces are the fruits of a tree that resembles apples. With that you can make jam

Quince jam is popular here nowadays. For years, you couldn't buy it although my Mum would make her own.

I had a Japanese quince bush when I lived in Ohio and it was beautiful when it bloomed in early spring. I've never had quince jam, though.
