My friend called the cops on me at 1:30am and said I was looking threw her window at her at 1:30am. The cop came to my house at 2:00am and woke up my daughter, my husband and my self. I was never at her house how can I protect myself?

Honestly, I would just let it go and try to stay away from this person. Did she have any sort of reason to accuse you of this? Was there an argument between the two of you or something. If you want to take action, you can have her fined for filing a false police report, but it might just fan the flames.

Well obviously this person has some serious problems. The fact is that you were at home and I am sure your husband and daughter can attest to that...so you should be fine. If she has no proof you were there, then it's her word against yours....

We hung out just before I went to be and every thing was cool between us. Should I file a false police report just in case she dose's it again? I don't know why one would do this to a friend.

I guess you just lost a friend, if they were really a friend. I hope that your friend also realizes that filing a false police report is a crime also, and they can be prosecuted for this. As far as protecting yourself, stay away from that friend. If they start to bother you, try setting up a video camaera to get footage of them, and take it to the police and file a report.

That is crazy. You friend must be mentally ill. Since you have witnesses that you were home you should be just fine. I would get a restraining order on her in case she tries anything else weird. Good luck

Well you shouldn't have a problem because you have witnesses that know you were home in bed. I can't believe that happened, what could she possibly be thinking? Did you have a big fight just before this. I'd stear clear from her and try to have an aliby at all times just in case she does it again.

When I lived in an apartment complex, other people called the cops for the stupidest things. One day a neighbor called the cops on my son who had been playing in the back yad and the neighbor said he ran to close to his window and upset his birds. I moved out of there. Some people are just crazy that way, but I wouldn't worry about it because you had a witness to where you were.
