My UNCLE will have his FLIGHT to the USA: Is it a GOOD IDEA?

Since I do not have any connections with my evil relatives, but their children are still connected with us. A cousin informed me that his father is going back to the USA on the 16th of May. By that time, the lockdown is uplifted. I am concern that it is not a good idea for him to travel since the situation in America with COVID-19 cases. It is a part of showing my opinion. Am I in a good sense with this concern? If you were in my shoes, would you advise the same thing? Image Credit: unsplash.com

They will just brush your opinion off but you can still give your cousin a piece of advice about it. At least you did your part.

@Shavkat I'm an outcast with the family as well since they hate my guts. I say things that they don't want to hear but I only do it for their own good as well.

@cherriefic I think you are just being you. I don't think there is a problem with that. I am glad that my family members are not like this. At the beginning of this year, we ended our relationship on both sides of my biological parents.

I agree with you. I am so hesitant to say something about this matter. I am sure they will say something against me despite being a concern relative.

I would avoid travel to the USA since some states will allow businesses to open but on a condition of keeping safe distances inside their business for the time being. In some states, it is like being in a prison camp.

Speaking of the prison camp, I also described it to my cousin and relay it to his father. It is not guaranteed that he will go straight home. He might have 14 days quarantine in this kind of facility.

@Shavkat That is true since in some states the governors are telling their citizens do not open up for business before they are allowed to or else they will be taken to jail.

@Deepizzaguy I must say that this uncle of mine is illiterate. I am sorry to say this but it is true. I cannot understand why my cousin cannot persuade him not to go.

I would say in general not a good idea. But maybe the planes will be empty. Who knows.

This is what I am pointing out to my cousin. I think they are still pursuing to go on travel. I assumed that once he arrived in America he will be going to straight to areas for quarantine. It is really a bad idea for me.

It sounds like LA, California is safer than in other states in America. I heard that his daughters and siblings are going to transfer to a safer place. I am not into details about since I don't talk to them much since we cut the familial relationship with the uncles and aunts.

It is his father who will be going back to America. My cousin will drop him to the airport in Manila. I agree if my third eye is open, I can foretell the future for him.

I think it is still risky since it is a long flight. He has to stay in the airplane for a long time and he has to do precautions really well.

My family and I think the same thing. According to his son who came by here. I am sure that his children in LA and the relatives will be together and help each other despite his father being in the Philippines.

there are protocols in naia, during the flight and also when he lands at the airport he's going to. also i'm sure his children in the us are also updating themselves on what to do.

I do agree that there are some protocols. People are allowed to go out of our country. According to his son, his younger sisters and the rest of the family will be moved to the safest place. No details more from him.

@hereandthere Today is his flight. I haven't heard any news from my cousin. Since we cut the tie with them, I do not want to interfere with their lives now. Besides the point, they don't care about us now.

@Shavkat they just have to remind their father to be alert and careful from the trip to the airport, to the preflight procedures, throughout the flight until arrival.

@Shavkat It probably isn't a good idea to travel. Does he have to go back now or can he wait? Is he going to a place where there have been a lot infected with the virus?

For me, it is not a good idea to fly to the US or anywhere now. But his reasons for going there is not to travel but to be with his family. So maybe hes just waiting for the earliest time he can return there and you cant really stop him. You can only remind him of the risk and danger and that you care for their safety

well, it's not the right moment to go I suppose. Since there are many students studying abroad thinking that it would be much safer inside.

You are correct, this is no time to travel here, Shavkat! I seriously doubt the lockdown will be lifted by then but even if it is, tell your uncle to check the specific area he wants to travel to for the number of new cases before he steps foot on a plane! BTW, I am so happy you said that photo wasn't your uncle because I was thinking he is an extremely ugly man! Edit to add: If you'd like, I could try and mail you some Covid 19 virus for you to give to your evil relatives...

Then I guess you have to advise him not to go anymore.
