Hello lovely people. I hope you're all as well as you can be. I was supposed to have a job interview this morning but the interviewer didn't turn up. It was meant to be one of those remote interviews. I checked all my settings and connections, got into the thing about 5 minutes before the interview was about to start, waited for 20 minutes before I gave up. I did have two missed calls on my mobile. I had put that on silent. I think the number was the company supposed to be interviewing me but I wasn't going to answer the phone while waiting for an interview. They might call me back later, they might not. I don't think I really wanted that particular job. It pays more than my current job, and there could have been better career progression opportunities but it's further away (two buses to get there), no chance of working from home, and different shifts. I actually wouldn't mind different shifts but it could get difficult trying to get to the place (and home) during some of the working times. I have been working on other things. I have often been told that I take on too much, and I know this to be true. Nowadays, however, I am carefully considering things before I commit to them! I've been enjoying my cross-stitch and my pyrography but I'm not starting another project until I know I have the time and materials to complete it. I do need to get on with some writing, though. I've done bits, on and off, over the past few weeks. Today, I plan to work on my 'Catholic Saints Feast Days' series, and on my book about Paganism. I can probably finish one feast days article in a few hours but I don't think my book is going to be completed this year (as I'd originally hoped). Apart from those things, I've gone and got myself on Redbubble. I don't know if you've heard of it. Both of my sisters are on it. Redbubble is an online marketplace. Artists upload their work (photos, vectors, digital art, anything that can be turned into a compatible format) and choose products on which the art can be printed. I've got six different images on there at the moment. The image I've used here is of 4 of my designs. I will be uploading more but I need to find some good ones and do some editing. Before I do that, though, I'm heading over to Vocal.media to work on my writing. If you want to find me anywhere, just look up Sapphire M. Ravenclaw or SMRavenclaw. That's what I am in some places. If you know my real name, you can, of course, look me up with that to find other things. What have you all been doing? Have you learned anything new? What, if anything, do you like to create?

I must agree you really do take on too much. But I think it's nothing if you enjoy it right. About the interview I think what is meant to be always becomes so no worries it will definitely come around if it's meant to be. Been trying to know Abit more about photography hoping I can give my photos up to acceptable quality

I'm not very good at sticking to one thing. I get bored easily! I'm not as bad as I used to be. Now, I'll make an effort to finish something before starting something else (with the exception of one on going thing). I thought the same about the interview. I could do with a change of job but maybe I'm supposed to stay where I am or something better will come along. What do you use for your photography? Digital camera? Phone? Traditional camera? And what sort of things do you photograph? I have a few photos on Shutterstock but it's really hard to get photos accepted on there (not just me, I know some really talented professional photographers with years of experience whose pictures weren't accepted).

@pumpkinjam you really have some lovely skills I must say. I use my phone since I just take pictures for myself now I want to learn a little bit more about photography so that I can start sharing some of the moments I'll be capturing. I read an article on pixabay some of the examples they had put as unacceptable to me they actually looked very nice so I thought there is so much I don't know about photography.

Sounds like you've been busy. Nothing really going on here. I used to love to do crafts, especially needlework; but the arthritis in my hands is too bad for that now. Have a good day!

I like being busy but I must also make sure I don't overdo things! That's a shame about your arthritis. My hands stiffen up when doing needlework, and ache when I've been typing all day so I can understand how difficult such things would be with arthritis.

I did wonder if there had been a problem with connecting for the interview. They might have been trying to call me to tell me that but, as I treated the interview as I would any other, my phone was on silent. I like to do different things, and the extra cash earned from places like here, Vocal, and Redbubble will come in handy!

Good for you for keeping busy. I’m busy gardening and creating gourmet recipes from whatever is on hand.

Apart from things I've bought myself, I've only made one sale. I don't promote it much. My sisters have both made a few sales. I'm more focused on other things, so RB is more of a hobby and somewhere to put my photos and experimental pixel art
