This morning my partner was opening up our stove to remove a burner that popped. We are ordering a new one. I walked in while he had it wide open... said " did you unplug that? He says "No" then proceeds to ask me to help unscrew the burner. I do and then he's pulling it out. touches my hand and the side of the stove is touching my shoulder. Well guess who got zapped! Me! I should not have started helping him when he told me no to it being unplugged.

I always unplug electronic and electrical appliances while working on them. I also wear gloves because some capacitors retain electrical charges even when unplugged. Another thing is never do it barefoot.
