Number of "People Reached" on Facebook

I created several Facebook pages in 2012 and just got the highest number of "reactions/comments" and "people reached" per post recently.
I am still not sure if "reached" means seen or viewed. Haha!
By the way, I only posted a beach photo with a message that all beaches in our localities are ordered to temporarily close down. I am surprised to see 23,000 plus "People Reached".

I sometimes think that the numbers they give are inflated. I also believe it refers to those who have seen it on their newsfeeds or across the side, but not necessarily noticed it. Like, it was put before 23,000 people, but maybe not all of them noticed it.

My account in FB is not that active and I chose it to be private that only my few chosen friends can read and see it. I am not that interested about the teach it can go. I am happy if one or two of my close friends and family take notice of it and interacted with it.

Hello where were you my friend. Wow 23k people seen your page or they ask to boost to reach 23k people. Its a great achievement if its true and ofcourse you are very famous.

@AkoPinay Haha I am talking about you and yes i have seen in photos, beaches are so beautiful there. Its really great if FB free there and thus they also find their partners there too

I think by reached means those who viewed within 3 seconds were counted.

I think 23.000 people reached its mean The page appeared on 23,000 Facebook users. that does not mean all of them pay attention to that page
