Beside of facemask the government ask or even in some area like public transportation requires people to wear face shields. It was our schedule today going to the market and my wife bought 2 face shield for both of us. She said the used to be 30 to 35 pesos faceshield was 65 pesos now.

That is so mean. That happened for a while in Japan when masks were not available. Some stores managed to get them online and sold them for high prices. Now that is illegal.

Starting August 15 it's now mandatory to wear a face shield besides a mask in public transport as well as in work areas.

This is how the market works though....Capitalizing more on products that have a huge demand. As many people are losing out on their business profits during this pandemic, many have started to deal with Corona related items as a subsidiary business.

I got a face shield at our local home center supply store. It was really cheap. We start school tomorrow and I'm required to wear it if we sing in class, and since I teach music I'm just going to wear it most of the time, although we won't sing much. You need to wear a mask as well. They do two different things.
