Friday Date Nights Require Light Lunches All Week!

It’s Fridianne Day once again! 
How fast the weeks seem to go.
We decided to order dinner from one of our favorite restaurants. We haven’t had anything from them since last December when we left for Florida. They will also deliver!
We have a menu in the house, but I will check online to see if there will be any monstrous price increases. Not that it matters. Our minds are made up. The only thing that will be made at home by hubby is my weekly martini.
I knew this was coming, so I’ve been nibbling on fresh watermelon and cantaloupe for lunch this week. Today it will be a mango.

Corona doesn't live on the food, so we have it left at our door, and when the driver leaves, we get it with a mask on. At least they driver wears a mask and fresh gloves. I have eaten our doors on patios and terraces far from people. I refuse to eat inside a restaurant due to the people.

LIght lunches are worth it to have a nice feast on a Friday night! Any idea what you're going to be ordering? I have an appetite for Kentucky Fried Chicken right now. Nice greasy spicy heartburn-inducing fried chicken! lol. I haven't had it in awhile. Maybe next weekend I'll celebrate my pay day with it.

Yes, a break from cooking and a meal from your favorite restaurant will be just what the doctor ordered! It will be a nice way to celebrate Fridianne day!

Yes the days and weeks and months are passing by so fast that you fail to realise that it has happened. I don't know if this pandemic and subsequent lockdowns has anything to do with it because everybody is feeling the same. Enjoy your dinner with Martini.

@MommyOfEli2013 Thanks. I'm okay. It's been a madhouse here all day. The furnace was cleaned, I received a gazillion texts, the phone didn't stop ringing, and I placed 2 Instacart orders. I sterilize everything that comes into the house.

@Tampa_girl7 I would have saved it, but we are eating out early tonight with the kids, after paddle boarding, at our club on the terrace and far from anyone, and tomorrow we are having a Labor Day get together here with social distancing. It won't keep that long.
