We will be changing AC units from non-inverter to inverter. It has been said that those inverter types are more economical to use and that the amount consume compared to non-inverter type are much cheaper. Our electricity here is not that cheap. Hopefully, this will save me some electricity in the future.

we had our old refrigerator replaced by inverter type and we felt the change in our billing the following months. l have not tried AC units yet as l know they are priced higher than the regular non inverter type.

I have read before that if you use the AC for more than 8 hours a day, then the inverter type is a better choice.

yes, I heard that too. We use AC at night time most of the times. I am hoping to pay the same bill or less which will be better but for longer hours of use

I've been using inverter AC, inverter frost-free refrigerator, and 4 LED light bulbs with 38 watts each. My electric bill ranges from 900-1,100 and I've been working from home since the lock down. The use of inverter AC will surely decrease your electric bill.

I'm not familiar with those. We have a central unit that cools the entire house by sitting different zones. I hope you do save a lot of money.

it depends on the brand. We used to buy carrier or condura. But they do not have stocks so we choose Panasonic.
