Typhoon Quinta was just yesterday. Now, LPA Rolly is on its way towards us! Whew!

This is causing us reasons to prepare more! Quinta caused a lot of damage to our plants & properties. Am wondering, what is there left for Rolly to destroy? The report said it might landfall tomorrow, Wednesday, or on Friday! Somebody we know also said that she read (somewhere) that another LPA is forming & it is named Siony. The news said, accordingly, that it is expected to landfall on November 3 or 4! Whew! The Philippines is set to have an Alphabet typhoons, every year! If LPA Rolly will turn to one, it means we still need to be ready for STUVWXYZ. It means, 8 typhoons more, until December? OM!

@DianneN Don't be. We're used to having typhoons in our place. Some of our neighbors leave their homes to evacuate to higher grounds. They just go back when it's safe already. The problem is, it's not only the clean up that follows. There is also the risk of live wires from fallen electric posts. Also, as it just flooded, snakes could be anywhere!

Although it may not turn into a true typhoon it may just be a rainy day if it comes to our place. I guess we are in La Nina right now were we will experience an excessive rainfall this wet seasonSo l guess we’re expecting that to happen in the coming days.

It's ok if it rains, as long as it will not result to flooding.

Yes. We are. As our place is always subject to flooding, all appliances, sala set, cabinets, etc., are now securely elevated. Hoping the flood will not reach them or the effort will be in futility! Praying!
