Cooking while Mylotting

I was inspired to fry pork belly today because of a fellow mylotter who had pork chop yesterday. Sometimes, when I read food discussions, it gives me an idea on what to prepare the following day. I will also make an egg drop soup. I will use the pork broth. Anyway, that is my lunch. What about yours? Kids here are on their semetral break already. Of course, they are happy.

Sounds like a good lunch. I really don't eat lunch since I eat a late breakfast - if I get hungry in the afternoon I'll just have a small snack to last me until Dinner.

Sounds delicious. I sometimes mylot and cook at the same time. When I do that I sometimes forget that I have something cooking and that is not good, especially if I am frying something. I used to love pork but after I met my husband I no longer eat it out of respect for him. I also gave up shellfish, crustaceans, octopus, and squid... Never thought I'd ever do that.

I'm not sure yet what I'll do. Just had dinner two hours ago more or less. Had microwave dinners tonight instead. (Husband couldn't make up his mind, and I didn't want to stand over the stove).

Sounds delish! But I cannot eat pork. I had giniling, the leftover from dinner. It is a meat less giniling.

I ate pork afritada this afternoon but I just bought it at the carenderia. The taste is OK but it would be better if they tender the meat more.
