How to cheer yourself when your energy is too low?

I woke up with strange feelings. It was 9 in the morning but I don’t want to get up. At the back of my mind, there are plenty of things that needs to be done and it seems that I do not have the energy doing. It not about being lazy I know and because the sense of responsibility won over me, I got up, fixed myself and took my breakfast. I have one important appointment waiting and I should be there before 3 this afternoon. If it’s not just part of my job, I should not be there considering that the weather here is not good… Up for the challenge again…

glad you had a new challenged and I hope you have won it. But don't get me wrong, I love to cheer up -- encourage a lot of people but I myself is a big fat lazy woman who would love to read and watch movies and dramas... I procastinate a lot and that is my BIG PROBLEM, I am so unfocus with my life. That is soooo sad you know!

@ZedSmart I agree one not having energy is not about being lazy. It is that you just do not have the strength to deal with things right now. Good luck with what you have to do and hope it turns out fine.

It mus be psychological but I can see in you that you’re trying to fight it off which is a good sign that you are still able to prioritize despite that feeling. I guess for as long as you know your priorities and still able to fight off the feelings that makes you stop doing things they are okay.

@ZedSmart Some says that when you smile it helps even if the smile is fake just smile. It sends signal on the brain to cheer you up.

I try to fight that feeling and keep myself believe that I can stand and be able to go through. Fight for the win... but not that easy though.

What I don't like is that feeling keeps on coming back and would like to pull you even if you want to look straightforward to the path and bear in mind to never give up.

Yes, when we're sick, we will bear what's our body is telling us and we should set aside those things. However, when we just feel low and even if our body is able, I consider it as barrier to overcome.

Sometimes I got overwhelmed when too much things to do, so I just make a plan for tomorrow activities the night befote sleep. Wish the appointment has good result :-)

When i feel like that its mostly because of some thought i harbored in the morning or before i went to sleep. How i start my morning always set the tone for the whole day, I used to wake up very late morning and i must say i was always tired and demotivated.I started to wake up earlier when everyone is sleeping, i will have my alone time to introspect and reflect on many things through Journaling, afterwards i will head out to workout and later that is when i can do all the other things.All in all prioritize the things you love in the morning and the whole day is likely to be more colorful.

I also experience that sometimes. If it were not for work and responsibilities, I could just lie in bed the whole day during such days.

I need a breath of fresh air really but considering our situation now, that adds up the burden. And I think that staycation is not enough. But, yeah I will get the necessary rest.
